there's no beginning and there is no end

I’m a bad blogger lately. Sorry. Life has been kind of just a lot of the same – not bad, just nothing too exciting to blog about I guess. Lots of drama at work which is kind of frustrating. Finishing up a data entry job.

Weather has actually been pretty nice for this time of year – not miserably hot. I’ve been wearing kind of boring dresses with heels because they’re kind of like wearing your nightgown out. This is an old Isaac Mizrahi for Target dress (forgot to take pics actually on my body) that is black eyelet over top of bright pink cotton.

It pretty much looks black from a distance but closer up you can see the pink peeking through:

Worn with an older pair of t-straps by Tribeca that have a cute little perforated design on them so they looks black from a distance…

…but close up you can see the little detail peeking through:

Made this potato/olive/tomato/tilapia bake recently with fresh basil on top – came out pretty good, actually.

Otherwise been sort of in an eating rut of beans & rice, avocado and tomato sandwiches with sprouts, and the usual egg white omelets. And eating out with J, of course. It’s all good.

I’ll be better about updating and photographing now. Thanks for reading. 🙂

it's the floor you can't fall below

Busy, busy.

I’ve been eating tofu scramble for the past couple of days – made with one of those little powdered mixes that has been sitting in my pantry for a while, but I added sauteed zucchini, orange bell pepper, and tomatoes…yum. It’s nice and vegan on it’s own like this:

Tofu scramble alone

But then I decided to add cheese, haha, and that made it SUPER yummy!

It made enough that I’ve had it for several days…and one day added a few Morningstar veggie sausage patties. Super yum.

Super soy-overload.

Let’s see, what else have I been up to? I’ve been very lazy, clothing-wise…have been wearing leggings with tunics and sandals way too often. Blurry Example A.

I know, I know, not flattering. But it’s so comfy. Silly tunic from Old Navy that I thrifted a while back and has been leaving sequins everywhere I go when I wear it.

As of today, however, it’s probably too hot for leggings anymore. Time for shorts/skirts from here on out, I bet.

I guess that’s it.
